YOUR ROLE
- Maintain coaching standards across classes and programmes
- Coach beginners, advanced hobby athletes and competitive fighters alike
- Work closely with Head coach and other coaches
Candidate profile
WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR
- High-level BJJ black belts or elite competitors; Experienced grappling coaches; Individuals who can lead groups with calm authority.
- Documented professional fight experience
- Proven coaching experience in a serious training environment
- Strong communication skills on the mat
- High reliability and consistency
- Only open to EU/EFTA citizens, or individuals who can independently obtain a legal work permit in Switzerland
- Please note: we are unable to sponsor or arrange work permits
- German: an advantage

IMPACT Martial Arts is looking for an experienced Head Coach (f/m/d) for our new studio in Winterthur – 60%–100%
We’re growing – and you can be part of it!
At IMPACT Martial Arts, we help people become stronger, fitter, and more confident through martial arts – in an environment that is motivating, welcoming, and professional.
In Zurich, we are already one of the leading gyms – and now we’re bringing our energy to Winterthur!
What Awaits You
- You teach technical and tactical content in at least three disciplines:
MMA, Muay Thai, Boxing, BJJ, Self-Defense, or Wrestling. - Together with us, you develop training concepts that are fun and effective for both beginners and advanced athletes.
- You work closely with our existing Zurich team and are open to helping create new formats, events, or kids classes.
- You are actively present in the gym, deliver motivating and structured sessions, and help ensure that members look forward to training every day.
- You stand for a training culture where everyone feels welcome – regardless of experience, fitness level, or background.
What You Bring
- You have a broad martial arts background with strong experience in at least three of our core disciplines.
- You have competed yourself (competition experience), but you also truly enjoy coaching and teaching.
- You can explain technique clearly and with a positive attitude – with patience, structure, and enthusiasm.
- You are excited about helping build a gym, inspiring people, and taking responsibility in coaching.
- You enjoy working with kids, can adapt to different target groups, and have a strong sense for group dynamics.
- You speak fluent German and understand English well.
